Why go there?

Tucked just off the High Street in Bridge of Allan, this new shop has Brass Cufflinks brought boudoir-style shopping to the area. The exterior has a cottage feel while the interior is like a girl's bedroom scattered with gorgeous clothing, handbags, lingerie and trinkets.

Canny young owner Emma Jade Ramsay has cleverly sourced the kind of goodies that women are bedazzled by, including plenty of sparkly finds, luxurious fabrics and feminine details. The perfect destination if you're in need of some heavy-duty spoiling.

Best known for?

There are strings of freshwater pearls by Butler & Wilson and jewellery by Emma Lister. Also, they're the only Scottish stockist of the fun and retro-style swimwear range Pistol Panties and the seductive underwear range by Sarah Fisk (as loved by celebs including Elle Macpherson and Kate Moss). If you need to up the glam factor, then invest in one of the Court Royal corsets, duchesse satin bustiers, a couture silk evening bag by Wilbur & Gussie or a Kim Goulding bag, GBP 265 (pictured).
